why you need patch for custom hostname? you can use `hostnamectl`

when executing is says permission denied. I exited and turned off a patch i had installed (Custom Hostname) and after going back into Fingerterm it allowed me root access. Output: SailfishOS 2.1.3.7...

Seems something is trying to execute /root/.bashrc, which doesn't have executive permission. Maybe you should check /etc/profile, /etc/bashrc and /root/.bash_profile
